How to Make Homemade Bat Repellent
You will need a clean plastic spray bottle, water, and your choice of household ingredients from the items listed above. Once you have all your materials gathered, combine clean water with a moderate amount of each ingredient and transfer it to a spray bottle. Then simply spray the perimeter of your lawn with the solution, or in areas where you have noticed increased bat activity. After each rainfall, reapply until the bats decide your home is not a comfortable spot to hang out.
Special Note: If you are using hot sauce, be careful spraying the solution in areas where your pets hang out. It can be harmful to their eyes, mouth, nose, and throat.
Important Reminder About Bat Control
Keep in mind that you should never, under any circumstances whatsoever, attempt to touch, trap, harm, or kill a bat. This solution is the safest way you can get rid of bats all on your own, and without harming yourself, your pets, the bats, or the surrounding the environment.
